| 16GA; 97% blue, excellent bore, excellent stock, 28'' barrel, KESSLER MODEL 50 PROTOTYPE UNMARKED TOOL ROOM SHOTGUN IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THIS INTERESTING SHOTGUN HAS NO MARKINGS. THE BLUING SHOWS LIGHT OXIDATION, SPOTTING AND FRECKLING ON THE BARREL. THE BORE IS BRIGHT WITH A FULL CHOKE. THE WALNUT STOCK IS EXCELLENT WITH A RUBBER RECOIL PAD. A PIN IS MISSING OUT OF THE REAR OF THE RECEIVER. THE IDENTITY OF THIS SHOTGUN HAD US STUMPED UNTIL WE FOUND A PHOTO OF IT IN AN OLD STOEGER CATALOGUE, DESCRIBING IT AS THE ONLY LEVER ACTION SHOTGUN ON THE MARKET. |
