| 22 Long Rifle; 90% blue, very good bore, good stock, 25.5'' barrel, British Naval issue, conversion of a BSA Co. MKI long Lee Enfield rifle to the MKII pattern 22 claiber training rifle. Black paint metal finish, walnut stock. Marked on the left side of the butt socket with the navy mark "N" and Sht.22/II. The right side of the socket has the original BSACo. Marking. Long Lee Enfield rifle bolt is non-matching. Matching forend and windage adjustable rear sight. The magazine is a No4 rifle pattern with the internals removed for use in collecting spent cartridge casings. Volley sights are retained. Includes the attached original web sling. Mechanically fine. The buttstock is a bit loose. C&R/FFL, s/n A19xx |
