| 8mm (M88); 90% blue, good bore, good stock, 29.25'' barrel, Gewehr 1888 Commission rifle manufactured in Germany by Loewe, Belin in 1890. Non-matching serial numbers on bolt and other numbered small parts. S marked chamber, guides for stripper clips added on rear receiver. Turkish marked bolt matches itself. The metal has been refinished, likely at some point in Turkish issue. Walnut stock retains many visible German Imperial proofs and markings. Original cleaning rod. Dust cover on magazine box and quick release sling swivel on butt. The bore has shine and fairly strong rifling, showing light corrosion/pitting throughout. Antique., s/n 68xx |
