| 30 Luger; 95% blue, 90% straw, excellent bore, excellent grips, 4.75'' barrel, Original blue finish, strawed small parts and fitted with replacement checkered walnut grips which are not numbered. 30 Cal. Barrel marked “Kal. 7.65? on left side. The top of the toggle is stamped with a 7-line Mauser banner. Blank chamber. Eagle/N proofs appear on the left side of the receiver and breechbolt, and on the end of the front sight base. The safety area on the left side of the toggle is left "in the white". All the numbered parts are matching including the original aluminum bottom magazine. This gun is featured on pp. 771 and 748 of Dr. Geoffrey Sturgess’ The Borchardt & Luger Automatic Pistols and is from his collection. Condition: Overall excellent, the metal finish showing some light sharp edge and some high point holster wear. The finish on the grip frame strap and grip safety shows some thinning. Nice even straw on the small parts. The bore is bright and sharp. Grips are sharp and show beautiful color and wood grain, however there is a crack on the left panel beneath the sideplate. The magazine is very good with moderate wear on the body and bottom. Mechanicallly fine. C&R/FFL, s/n 38xxv, Catalog Number B-26 |
