| 7.63mm Mauser; 98% blue, excellent bore, excellent grips, very good stock, 5.25'' barrel, One of approximately 7000 1930 model and 712 schnellfeuer "broomhandle" pistols acquired by the Luftwaffe and issued to dispatch riders. The pistol has the standard Mauser markings. The walnut holster stock is stamped on the left side with a strong Mauser banner, under which is a sharp Luft eagle/Ka 30 proof. Numbered parts are matching. Un-numbered grooved walnut grips. Fixed front sight, 1000 meter tangent rear sight. Standard Mauser Oberndorf markings on top of chamber and on right side of frame with D.R.P.u.A.P. (Deutsches Reich Patenten und Anderes Patenten) below the markings on the right rear frame. Crown/U proofed. Light edge and corner wear with some stock insertion wear marks on bottom of barrel. The bore is bright and has strong rifling. Stock is very good having mostly minor dings and scuffs, good bright blue remaining on attaching iron and hinge plate, Luftwaffe numbered 81705. Import marked., s/n 8556xx |
