| 7.63mm Mauser; 90% blue, good bore, good grips, 5.5'' barrel, Commercial production "Broomhandle" pistol and stock, with original blued finish and grooved walnut grips. All matching including the grips. Fixed front sight, tangent rear sight graduated to 1000 meters. Generous fire blue finish remains on the trigger, safety lever, extractor and rear sight adjustment, a bit weak on the takedown. Stamped on top of the barrel knox "WAFFENFABRIK / MAUSER /OBERNDORF A/N" and on the right side of the receiver "WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER / OBERNDORF A.NECKAR". Commercial crown/U proof located on the left side of the barrel extension. The metal finish is age thinning evenly overall, showing holstering wear to the edges and frame rails, rubs and light scratches on the barrel. The bore has sharp rifling with moderate frost throughout. The stock has the last three digits of the serial number "127" (10 numbers off the pistol ) on the attaching iron. The stock is overall in Good condition however there are cracks, one 4" long crack on the bottom and one on the heel of the lid between the grip cutout and hinge plate., s/n 1971xx |
