| 7.63 mm; 90% blue, 30% straw, good bore, very good grips, 5 1/2'' barrel, Fixed front sight, and slip-in 1-10 rear sight. Long extractor, single lug firing pin and large ring hammer. Usual chamber address with s/n on left side chamber flat. "DV" on left side of bbl extension and a "crown"/AV under the bbl.Matching s/n except single lug firing pin (s/n 3898). Grips are matching. Major components are rust blued. Hammer is grayed and trigger strawed. Most wear invilving front and back straps that are largely toned with oxidative etching. Exposed in-the-white portions of the bolt, hammer and sub-frame, have turned to a mellow patina. Bright bore with good rifling and some frosting. Grips are dark with a few handling dings. Case is light brown suede leather, lined with luxurious fabric and secured with two brass keyed clasps, two keys included., s/n 48xx u |
