| 9mm Luger; 90% blue, very good bore, good grips, 5.5'' barrel, Original blue finish and grooved walnut grips. Matching number parts. Although some early C96 pistols in 9mm caliber did not have the usual "red 9" grips, the grips are not matching on this pistol. However the panels do match each other. Fixed front and tangent rear sight graduated to 500 meters. Standard Mauser Oberndorf markings appear on top of the chamber and on the right side of the frame, with crown/U proofs on the elft side of the barrel and top of the bolt. An Imperial proof appears on the right side of the barrel. This example is also export stamped on the left side of the upper receiver MADE IN GERMANY, and has British BNP proofs on the left side of the frame and bottom of the barrel. The bottom of the barrel also has the British "tons" release markings. The metal finish shows some wear and handling. Mechanically fine. The bore is clean and sharp, showing some light frost throughout. Includes a wlanut stock which is not matching, numbered 169 on top of the attaching iron. The stock is in overall very good condition and fits the slot on the pistols frame fairly well. C&R/FFL, s/n 854xx |
