| 7.63mm Mauser; 60% blue, good bore, good grips, 5.5'' barrel, Retailer marked, original blue finish, strawed trigger, fire blued small parts, matching number grooved walnut grips. Matching including the walnut shoulder stock. Fixed front sight, tangent rear sight graduated to 500 meters. Crown/U proofed. Standard Mauser Oberndorf markings on top of receiver flat. The right side of the frame is retailer engraved from Westley Richards & Co. Ld. London. The right side of the magazine housing is lightly scratched "RFM 7 April 63". The metal finish is worn and shows handling, weak straw on the trigger and fire blue on the small parts. Mechanically fine. The bore has strong rifling, showing some frost and corrosion. The stock is over all in good condition, full matching serial number on top of the attaching iron. The left side has a strong Westley Richards Co. oval cartouche. There is a 2 inch crack on the left side running from the bottom corner of the lids hinge plate. Antique (below 15000), s/n 114xx |
