| 9x19mm; 87% blue, very good bore, very good grips, 5.5'' barrel, Very rare Von Lengerke & Detmold of New York retailer marked C1896 Mauser "broomhandle" pistol chambered for 9mm Parabellum. This pistol appears documented in the book "System Mauser" by Joe Schroeder on pages 86-87 with photographs and description and listed by the serial number. Original blued finish shows edge wear and areas of thinning. Original checkered hard rubber grip panels with the MW logos which are matching to the pistol. Numbers matching. Fixed front sight, 1000 meter rear tangent sight with the extended V notched face. Large ring serrated hammer. The top of the barrel chamber flat is stamped "WAFFENFABRIK/MAUSER/OBERNDORF A/N". Stamped over the left side chamber flat "9MM" over the serial number. Standard Crown/U commercial proofing. Complete with the matching serial number walnut holster/stock which is in fair overall condition. Pin repaired cracks located on the bottom and over the left side, with a small crack between the latch button and opening. The pistol is in fine mechanical condition, bore is bright with fairly sharp rifling., s/n 311xx |
