| 8x57mm; 95% blue, very good+ bore, very good stock, 23.5'' barrel, Mauser Werke AG Borsigwald manufacture, dated 1938. S/243 code stamped on top of the receiver ring. Original blued finish and laminated stock and handguard. Cupped buttplate. Complete matching serial numbers except the bolt. Stock is matching numbered across the bottom of the butt, with a faint illegible non-matching number stamped vertically near the buttplate. The bolt body is un-numbered with two eagle/214 proofs on the handle shank. Shroud is eagle/63 proofed, cocking piece and shroud mis-matched. Original sling and cleaning rod. Bore is bright with strong rifling. No import marks., s/n 80xxa |
