| 8x57mm; 70% blue, very good bore, 23.5'' barrel, Late Mauser production 98K with cut and refinished stock. Stamped on top of the receiver ring with an eagle/135 proof, "Mod.98" and "byf 45". Original blued finish. Thinned phosphate finish stamped SVW e/135 proofed trigger guard and byf e/135 proofed stamped floorplate. Phosphate finished bolt is matching. Retains the nazi proofing and acceptance eagles. Stock sanded, holes filled, and varnished with no buttplate. Some surface rusting and spotting on the barrel. Bore is bright and strong, a few scattered spots of rust. It would be fairly easy to restore this rifle., s/n 67xxa |
