| 9x19mm; 97% blue, 75% straw, very good bore, very good grips, 4'' barrel, Mauser "sneak" P.08 Police issued Luger pistol, matching rig to include two magazines, holster and tool. Original blued finish, strawed small parts and checkered walnut grips. Unit marked on the front grip strap "L.Me.130.". Pistol is numbered in the commercial style. Blank chamber and toggle. The only numbered parts are the barrel and receiver, frame, rear toggle, toggle pin, sideplate, trigger and takedown lever, as well as the magazine. The magazine is a nickeled sheet steel variation with wood bottom, stamped with the Police number 1, serial number and unit gun number 130. The pistol is fitted with the sear safety over the sideplate, and the magazine safety has been restored with an original part. These were often removed due to malfunctions, and there are very few original parts available for repair. The right side of the receiver is stamped with a Weimar droop eagle proof, droop eagle/WaA66 and an eagle/H proof. A Weimar eagle is also located on the right side of the barrel, half stamped. Metal finish on the pistol shows high point holster and edge wear, with some thin spots on the grip frame. Mechanically fine, bore has shine and strong rifling. The holster is in very good original condition and is maker marked on the reverse "AGUSTAV REINHARDT/BERLIN" over a Police starburst proof. The back corner is stamped with the unit marking "L.Me.130." over the matching gun serial number 4405. Inside the holster is an original takedown tool, unproofed, with the matching serial number 4405 stamped on the back. The extra matching magazine is a nickeled sheet steel variant with aluminum base, the base marked with the Police number 3, 4405, with the unit number 130 and a Police proof at the tail of the base., s/n 44xxu, Catalog Number M-211 |
