| 16 GA/7X65mmR; 97% blue, excellent bore, good stock, 25 5/8'' barrel, Manufactured date September 1959. Cased, with extra set of 16 Gauge barrels. All matching serial numbers. Original blued finish barrels. Boxlock action with engaved deer on the left and fox and pheasant on the right. Crossbolt and side mounted cocking indicators. Double triggers. Stocked in walnut, three piece forend. Pistol gripped stock with cheekrest having a 14.25 inch LOP with original checkered plastic buttplate. The combination barrels have a matted solid rib with bbeaded fixed front sight and forward folding rear sight. Factory installed double claw scope bases. Complete with a Hensoldt Wetzlar Diavair 1.5-6X scope. Pointer/crosshair reticle, the optics are clear but slightly yellowed. The upper shotgun barrel has a 2 3/4" chamber with a fixed Improved Modified choke. Bores are bright, rifling in the rifle bore sharp. The matching numbers shotgun barrels have auto ejectors and are 28" long with 2 3/4" chambers, fixed Modified and Improved Modified chokes. Solid matted rib with white bead sight. Bright bores. Inside the case are cleaning rod sections with handle, mop and a leather sling. Mechanics are fine and lock up is tight. The wood shows use and handling with small dings and scratches, wear to the checkering, and there is a small grain split behind the upper tang. Has our import mark., s/n 506xx |
