| very good+ bore, excellent grips, 3.25'' barrel, MERWIN & HULBERT 1873 OPEN TOP POCKET ARMY REVOLVER IN ANTIQUE EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE REVOLVER RETAINS APPROX 90% OF ITS NICKLE PLATED WITH ABOUT HALF OF THE CYLINDER PLATING BRIGHT AND HALF DULL. THE BORE IS BRIGHT WITH VERY GOOD+ RIFLING ALONG WITH A FEW TINY SPOTS OF OXIDATION.. THE CHECKERED HARD RUBBER GRIPS ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE BIRDS HEAD BUTT IS SOMETIMES REFERRED TO AS THE SKULL CRUSHER BUTT.THE SINGLE ACTION IS SMOOTH, TIGHT AND IN TIME. THIS IS A VERY NICE EXAMPLE OF AN OPEN TOP POCKET ARMY. |
