| .44-40; fair bore, very good grips, 3.25'' barrel, MERWIN & HULBERT POCKET ARMY REVOLVER IN ANTIQUE FINE CONDITION. THE REVOLVER RETAINS APPROX 70% OF ITS NICKLE PLATED FINISH WHICH SHOWS AREAS OF FINISH LOSS ON THE BARREL AND CYLINDER. THE BORE SHOWS HEAVILY WORN RIFLING WITH OXIDATION PRESENT. THE CHECKERED HARD RUBBER GRIPS ARE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. THE BIRDS HEAD BUTT IS SOMETIMES REFERRED TO AS THE SKULL CRUSHER BUTT.THE SINGLE ACTION IS SMOOTH, TIGHT AND IN TIME. |
