| 16 Ga/9.3x57mmR; 80% blue, good bore, good stock, 26'' barrel, Manufactured c. early 1900's. Original blued finish steel barrels with 2 1/2" shotgun chambers, chokes gauge Modified and Improved Cylinder. Exact chambering for the rifle barrel is unknown, straight chamber for a rimmed case, a guess being 9.3x57mmR, however exact chambering would need to be determined by a competent gunsmith. Matted rib with beaded front sight, manual flip up rear sight and dolls head extension. Fitted with double claw scope bases. Barrels are stamped on the top of each "J.P. SAUER & SOHN, SUHL" and FLUSS STAHL KRUPP ESSEN. Casehardened frame with sideplock actions. Border and English scroll engraving. Clock hand cocking indicators. Rifle cocking lever on the left side with pin indicator on the top of the frame. Checkered walnut, round knob grip stock with cheekrest. Crosshatched steel buttplate with bullet trap. Inlaid silver disc on the bottom of the butt with engraved initials "MS". Period leather sling. And includes a period leather cover which is worn and a bit tattered. The barrels shows some finish wear, right barrel has a tiny dent on the top and the left barrel has a shallow crease on the side visible in the bore. Frame and lockplates have aged mostly bright with trace case color. The toe of the stock has a repaired chip and small crack. Tiny chip and crack at the tip of the upper tang. Actions and indicators function fine and barrels lock up well. Shotgun bores are bright showing some minor-light corrosion. Rifle bore has corrosion along the grooves.
