| 8mm Nambu; 95% blue, 50% straw, Excellent bore, Very good grips, 4 3/4'' barrel, EARLY NAMBU TYPE 14, SMALL TRIGGER GUARD, (SHOWA 8.11) MADE IS NOVEMBER 1933 AT KOISHIKAWA ARSENAL TOKYO. THE BLUING HAS DULLED SOMEWHAT WITH LIGHT FRECKLING PRESENT. THERE IS SOME VERY LIGHT PITTING ON THE BACKSTRAP. THE STRAW SMALL PARTS RETAIN 50% OF THEIR COLORS. THE BORE IS MIRROR BRIGHT WITH EXCELLENT RIFLING. THE GRIPS ARE VERY GOOD SHOWING LIGHT HANDLING MARKS. HAS A NON MATCHING CORRECT TYPE NICKLE PLATED MAGAZINE. VERY FEW TYPE 14s WERE MADE IN 1933 MAKING THIS A VERY RARE PISTOL., s/n 266xx |
