Standard military windage adjustable front and tangent rear sights. Short walnut handguard. Side mount sling swivels. Original leather sling attached. A total of 5,843 M1895 and M1897 carbines were produced, 1500 made in 1899. The metal and wood show wear and handling. Mechanically fine.
