| 6.5 X 55mm; 80% blue, fair bore, good stock, 24'' barrel, Original blue finish and walnut stock. Matching serial numbers. 1916 dated on top of receiver. Standard military fixed front and tangent rear sights. The 1912/16 carbines had a stengthened upper band for bayonet use. A total of 7,927 of this variant were produced in 1916. Original cleaning rod present. The metal and wood show wear and handling. There is a tight 1 inch crack on top of the handguard in front of the rear sight base. Mechanically fine. The bore has strong rifling and a snug muzzle, dark and frosted throughout. C&R/FFL, s/n 157xx |
