| 6.5 X 55mm; 60% blue, fair bore, good stock, 24'' barrel, Difficult to find M1912 Krag in original condition, with most being upgraded in 1916 with a redesigned upper band as the original configuration was prone to stock breaks and cracks at the upper forend. Original blue finish and walnut stock. Matching numbers except the rear sight leaf. 1914 dated on top of receiver. Standard military fixed front and tangent rear sights. Original cleaning rod present. The metal and wood show wear and handling. Mechanically fine. The bore has strong rifling and a snug muzzle, dark and frosted throughout. The wood is over all good, the handguard has a tight 1.5 inch crack in front of the rear sight base. C&R/FFL, s/n 22xx |
