| 85% blue, fair bore, very good stock, 29'' barrel, 15 bore, British proofed, manufactured between 1856 and 1875. Crown/stylized βBPβ, crown/BCP and crown/V and β15β marked on bottom of each barrel. Also a BH 2 on bottom of rib. Both side locks are marked, βP POWELL & SONβ. Top of rib is marked, β??STUB?? TWISTβ. Bead front sight, barrels are a deep plum with pitting at nipples. Bores are patina. Checkered forend and wrist, keylock has been replaced. Antique., s/n 2 |
