| 9 mm; 70% blue, very good bore, good grips, 4'' barrel, Marked on top of the toggle "DWM" and on top of the chamber 1915, along with an un-identified marking consisting of a large V followed by 6 over 021. We have been unable to identify this marking. The pistol has the normal Imperial proofs and acceptance stamps, with no post-WWI markings. All matching except the magazine, which is a proper type with sheet steel body and wood bottom. Original blue finish with matching numbered checkered walnut grips. The finish shows wear and thinning overall with scattered rust spotting as well. The strawed finish on the small parts has faded to mostly gray. The grips show wear with smooth points on the checkering. Mechanically fine., s/n 86xxc, Catalog Number D-68 |
