| 9mm Luger; 80% blue, 20% straw, very good bore, good grips, 4'' barrel, DWM 1920 commercial reworked for Police issue. Original blue finish, strawed small parts and checkered walnut grips. The numbered parts are matching including the wood bottom magazine which has the matching serial number and the Police number 1. The sear safety is installed over the sideplate and the frame is modified for the magazine safety as well, this assembly removed as was common due to malfunctions. Commercial crown/N proofs appear on the left side of the receiver and breechbolt. The left side of the receiver and bottom of the barrel are stamped with Weimar crown/G proofs and the bottom of the barrel is also marked with a Weimar eagle proof. The front grip strap is Police unit marked S.St. (Prussia Protection Police, Stettin District) and 1001. flanking a cancelled marking. Condition: Good, the metal finish showing wear with thinning on the grip straps. The grip panels show wear and areas of compressions to the checkering. Mechanically fine. The bore has shine and strong rifling, showing some frost along the grooves. C&R/FFL, s/n 34xxr, Catalog Number D-305 |
