| 9mm Luger; 95% blue, 75% straw, Good bore, good grips, 4'' barrel, Police rework of a DWM 1920 Commercial. Original blue finish, strawed small parts and checkered walnut grips. The numbered parts are matching except the firing pin. Matching police magazine, sheet steel variation with aluminum bottom, which is stamped S/42 and with a 2 on the front of base and with a droop wing eagle proof at the tail of the base. Sear safety installed. The top of the toggle is stamped with the DWM logo, the chamber is blank. The barrel is a police replacement which is stamped on the right side with an Imperial period military acceptance mark, and on the left side with a crown/RC over a crown/italic letter proof. The original number on the bottom of the barrel has been removed and the matching number applied during rework. The metal finish shows light edge and some high point holstering wear, with some thinning on the front grip strap. The grips show light wear to the points on the checkering. Mechanically fine.
