| 9mm Luger; 85% blue, 30% straw, Good bore, good grips, 4'' barrel, Weimar period Police DWM 1929 commercial model (Mauser sneak), with original blue finish, strawed small parts and checkered walnut grips. The Police sear safety is installed. The pistol is altered for the magazine safety, which has been removed which was common due to malfunction. All matching including the magazine, which is a Haenel star/K marked plated magazine with aluminum base, stamped with the matching serial number and a number 2. The toggle and chamber are blank and commercial crown/N proofs appear on the bottom of the barrel, left side of the receiver and left side of the breechbolt. A droop wing eagle/WaA66 proof is located on the right side of the reciever. The front grip strap is stamped with a Police unit mark L.Sta.186. (Regierungsbezirk Stade, gun number 186). The metal finish shows edge and high point holstering wear, with areas of spotting on the barrel and around the edges of the frame. The left side frame has some finish touch up. The grips, which are not numbered, show some wear to the points on the checkering. Mechanically fine. C&R/FFL, s/n 76xxt, Catalog Number D-05 |
