| 9mm Luger; 4'' barrel, Rig, 9mm Luger; 96-98% blue, very good bore, very good grips, 4" barrel. Original blue finish (these guns were not issued with strawed parts) all matching serial #'s gun, including matching number checkered walnut grips and one matching #8202g magazine which has the "+" and E/63 stamped on the bottom. Rig, includes an original brown leather holster in excellent condition complete with a stick E/63 proofed takedown tool. The holster is maker marked CEY, E/WaA47 proof over eagle with a 40 date, with P.08 in upper right corner. The stitching has yellowed a bit over the years, but looks great with the tan/brown look of the holster. The name "Wilcox" is lightly etched into the leather between the belt loops. The pistol is stamped on the toggle with the Mauser code S/42 and on top of the chamber with the date 1938. The right side of the receiver is stamped with two stick E/63 proofs and a droop wing eagle military acceptance mark. Other droop eagle acceptance marks appear on the right side of the barrel and left side of the breechbolt. A small stick E/63 proof is located over the left side of the barrel. Condition: Excellent. The metal finish showing minor sharp edge wear and high point holster wear to the expected areas. The grip panels are with crisp checkering with a small circular impression on the right one. Mechanically fine, clean internally, the bore has strong rifling. A beautiful matching WW2 rig. C&R/FFL (consD), s/n 82xxg, Catalog Number M-188 |
