| 9mm Luger; 92% blue, 85% straw, Good bore, good grips, 4'' barrel, Original blue finish, strawed small parts and checkered walnut grips. Matching except the proper variation magazine which is numbered 5112m with a droop wing eagle/63 proof. The grips are not numbered and have e/655 proofs. The toggle is stamped on top with the Mauser code S/42 and on top of the chamber with the date 1936. The right side of the receiver is stamped with two droop wing eagle/63 proofs followed by a droop wing eagle military acceptance stamp. The metal finish show some wear to the edges and high points from holstering. The finish on the grips straps is thinning to an even patina. Both grip panels show handling and have small holes along the lower front edges. The checkering remains sharp. Mechanically fine. The bore has strong rifling showing frost in the grooves.
