| 9mm Luger; 70% blue, good bore, good grips, 4'' barrel, Original blue finish, strawed small parts and matching number checkered walnut grips. All matching including the magazine, parts with the Simson eagle/6 proof. Grips with full serial number and eagle/6 proof. Magazine with eagle/6 proofs on front and rear of base. Toggle marked "SIMSON & CO/SUHL", blank chamber, right side of receiver with two stacked eagle/6 proofs beside two additional proofs. Weimar era military acceptance mark on right reciever and left side of breechbolt. The metal finish is thinning overall, with loss on high points and grip frame straps. Scattered areas of minor spotting with spots of browning on the grip frame. The grips are overall in good condition, the left panel having a small chip of missing wood under the safety lever. The magazine has a couple dents which do not interfere with function. Mechanically fine. C&R/FFL, s/n 65xx, Catalog Number SS-02 |
