| 9 mm; 98% blue, excellent bore, very good+ grips, 4.7'' barrel, Manufactured in 1972 The front sight is a blade and the rear is a U notch. The top of the slide has a Swiss Cross inside of a shield. Stamped on it by the rear sight. The left slide ha SIG inside of an oval. The slide and frame both have the S/N A 198294 Serial numbers starting A are the Swiss army ordnance models. Army models run from serial number A 100001 to A 213110. The barrel also has the S/N. The metal has very slight high edge wear, and the front grip frame has finish wear. A stamped "P" (="private") on the front of the trigger guard shows that a weapon was left as a gift to the owner upon leaving the Armed Services. The plastic checkered grips are in very good plus condition. Included is a brown leather flap holster, with shoulder straps. The holster has a magazine pouch with the extra magazine. The leather condition is very good. The stitching is intact except for a very small part. The reverse of the holster has a makers mark at the bottom of the inside flap A.
