| 8x58mmRD; 97% blue, very good stock, 31.625'' barrel, Remington 1867 rolling block rifle. Barrel show several light oxidation spots, moderate edge wear as well as some impressions to the tip, the left side near the receiver is stamped with "6131", the top is stamped with "C" crown as well as "J.B GM", the right side near the receiver is stamped with "1278/96". Receiver shows light oxidation/patina, the top of the tang is stamped with "Remington’s Ilion N.Y. U.S.A. Pat. May 3d Nov 15th, 1864, April 17th 1866". Stock is in very good condition with a few light scratches and impressions, the center of the right side has brass medallion, the right side does have one minor crack near the butt end. Butt plate shows moderate oxidation/patina, the top is stamped with "6131". Butt plate, breach, forearm, and sight band all have matching "6131"., s/n 61xx |
