| 43 SPANISH; 85% blue, very good bore, good stock, 36'' barrel, Though not marked this rifle is possibly Argentine contract having the integral bayonet lug on the right side of the barrel. The metal has been refinished, blued with mottled frame. Remington three line markings on the upper tang are faint. Three barrel bands, marked with "U". Stocked in walnut. Blued hammer and breechblock. Fixed front sight, ladder rear sight. Original cleaning rod present. Includes bayonet and scabbard, manufactured by Alex Coppel of Solingen Germany. Checkered plastic handles, marked on one side of the guard with a serial number and on the other "17B.257.". Leather with meal mounts, the seam is split for the length and is missing the staple for the tip. The blade is in good overall condition, having a few minor nicks on the blades edge., s/n H152xx |
