| 44-40 Winchester; good bore, good grips, 7.5'' barrel, Manufactured c.1875-1889. Factory nickel finish and plain walnut grips. Round barrel with fixed sight. Stamped on top "E. REMINGTON & SONS . ILION. N.Y. U.S.A.". Left side of the frame stamped with the caliber designation "44". Nickel finish is dull with approximately 90% remaining, most loss on the cylinder and rear of the topstrap. Scratches and scattered tiny dings on the metal. The action functions well. Antique., s/n 11xx |
