| 12 Gauge; good bore, good stock, 28'' barrel, 1894 Hammerless, A grade. Made c.1899. Damascus barrels with 2 3/4" chambers (for paper shells of the period), Full/full chokes, worn. Matted rib with silver bead, marked on top "REMINGTON ARMS CO ILION N.Y. U.S.A.". Extractor. Barrels do not match the action and forend. Boxlock action, older refinish. Double triggers. Trigger guard is non-matching and is from a later 1900 model it looks like. Walnut stock is a well fitted replacement with checkered pistol grip and side flats. Vintage Noshoc recoil pad semi-fitted. 14.25 ich LOP. Plastic grip cap. Push button forearm release. Faded finish on the barrel with rust spotting overall. Bore have some pitting visible ahead of the chambers otherwise look pretty good. Stock has well done repairs to chips at the top corners behind the action. Seems fine mechanically with good barrel lockup. No automatic safety reset., s/n 1144xx |
