| 30-06 Cal; good bore, good stock, 24'' barrel, M1903A3 rifle, original parkerized finish, mounted in a plain beechwood sporting stock. Original military RA 1-43 barrel with front sight removed. 4 groove bore is a bit dirty showing sharp rifling, should scrub out to better condition. The receiver ring and bridge have been drilled and tapped with one hole, with a shimmed Redfield one piece blued scope mount installed. A Leupold Vari-X II 3x9 scope is mounted on the Redfield twist off rings. The scope has a duplex reticle with Good optics, lens are dirty. The bolt has no legible markings, with an altered handle for scope clearance, amatuer quality work. The stock needs further fitting, especially in the barrel channel and behind the receiver tang, where there is a small crack. The stock is oil finished. Original trigger guard with a replacement oak leaf and elk engraved floorplate. A trigger shoe has also been installed., s/n 33808xx |
