| 7x57mmR; 99% blue, excellent bore, very good stock, 24.25'' barrel, Remington Rolling Block action, refinished and custom barreled in 7x57mm Rimmed chambering. Walnut buttstock with checkered wrist, carved 1866 on each side. Solid rubber recoil pad fitted to stock. Polished hammer and breechblock. 3 1/8 inch length Weaver style base mounted on top of barrel and receiver. No barrel sights. Faint Remington markings on upper receiver tang. Includes the checkered walnut custom forend and mount. The mount need re-attached to the bottom of the barrel. Screw with ebony inlay for the mount. The metal shows some handling marks. Quality of the work performed on this rifle is very nice, just needs some finishing. Action function fine, firing pin is a bit sticky and will need some attention., s/n 2499.25xx |
