| 22 Short; 75% blue, very good bore, very good grips, 3.25'' barrel, Circa 1865-1888. Original bright blue finish with fire blued trigger and hammer/breechblock. Marked on top of the barrel "REMINGTON'S ILION N.Y./PATENT OCT. 1, 1861". Original walnut grips. Fixed sights with brass post front. Generous fire blue remains on the hammer and trigger. Some flaking of the finish on the frame with thinned finish on the grip frame. There is some spotting mainly on the right side of the pistol. Mechanically fine with a nice bore. Antique, s/n 115xx |
