| 30-06 Springfield; very good+ bore, very good+ stock, 24'' barrel, USGI rebuild. Rock Island high number receiver. SA 11-30 barrel. Mixed dark parkerized finish with some blued small parts. Rifle is mounted in a 2 lug walnut stock without finger grooves and notched for an 03A3 handguard retainer. Walnut high hump handguard. Stock is RA, boxed FJA and ordnance wheel stamped on the left side, circle P proofed on the grip with small inspector stamps at the front of the trigger guard extension. A very nice piece of wood. Straight handle bolt. R (Remington) marked bolt shroud and cutoff. Receiver has a large gas escape hole added on the left side. The bore is bright with strong rifling, muzzle=.301+., s/n 2978xx |
