| 303 British; 60% blue, excellent bore, excellent stock, 30 1/2'' barrel, This Ross Rifle has 30 ½-inch barrel with a hooded front sight, and Southerland rear sight. Flag type safety, push button bolt release. Buttplate has sliding trapdoor with cleaning kit. Full length stock has minimal handling / storage wear, metal has thinning, to gray in some areas. The bore is bright. The Mk I bayonet is marked, ROSS RIFLE CO / QUEBEC / PATENTED 1907, on the pommel. The obverse has the circled broad arrow, C/4, 11 and dated 10/15. Clean bright blade while the ricasso, guard and pommel retain nearly bluing. Very good++ brown leather scabbard is marked with broad arrow, RC, 916 and MK II., |
