| 12 Gauge; 70% blue, good bore, good stock, 30'' barrel, Model 16 sidelock, manufactured in January 1928. Blued finish barrels with 2 5/8" chambers, choked Full/Full. Matted concave barrel rib with glass front and center beads, front broken. Finish on the barrels has aged evenly to blue/patina with scattered light surface spotting. Double underlugs. Extractor. Casehardened frame and lockplates with moderate croll leaf engraving, faded mostly gray. Greener style crossbolt, rotating cocking indicators. Double triggers. English straight grip checkered walnut stock . 14.25" LOP with the original fine checkered steel buttplate. Hole on the bottom of the butt for a sling swivel. Sling swivel added to the barrels. The forearm is a beavertail checkered walnut replacement which is not serial numbered. Small sliver of wood missing on the upper edge. Mechanically fine with good lockup. Import marked., s/n 2518xx |
