| SAVAGE NRA MATCH RIFLE IN 22 LONG RIFLE MISSING ITS REAR BAND. THESE INTERESTION GRIFLES WERE MADE FOLLOWING WWI FROM 1923-1926 AND THERE IS NO SEPARATE RECEIVER. THE BARREL AND ACTION ARE MADE FROM THE SAME BARREL BLANK. THE BLUING HAS DULLED SOMEWHAT SHOWING LIGHT WEAR ON THE TRIGGER GUARD. THE BORE IS MIRROR BRIGHT WITH EXCELLENT RIFLING. THE RECEIVER WAS DRILLED AND TAPPED IN THE LEFT WALL FOR A SCOPE MOUNT. THE SMOOTH WALNUT BUTTSTOCK HAS A SMALL REPAIR WHERE THE SCOPE MOUNT WAS FITTED AND IT IS WELL DONE AND SOLID. THE STOCK SHOWS NUMEROUS DINGS AND SCRATCHES. IMPORT MARKED. |
