| 52 Caliber; 70% blue, good bore, good stock, 22'' barrel, Original percussion carbine with blued finish round barrel. Fixed front sight. Ladder rear sight, RS Lawrence marked base. Casehardened frame aged mostly bright. Walnut stock with visible inspector cartouche on the left side. Iron band and patchbox. Stamped on top of the barrel chamber "NEW MODEL 1859" and on top of the barrel in front of the rear sight "SHARPS RIFLE/MANUFG. CO./HARTFORD CONN.". Left side of the barrel chamber stamped with inspector initials GC. Right side lockplate is marked "R.S LAWRENCE PAT./APRIL 12TH 1859" and "C. SHARPS PAT./OCT. 5TH 1852". Left side of the frame stamped "C. SHARPS PAT./SPT. 12TH 1848". Frame has dark spotting overall. Light surface rusting on the barrel. Lock functions well. Bore is bright with strong rifling.
