| 9x19mm; 87% blue, good bore, good grips, 4'' barrel, Original blued finish, strawed small parts and checkered walnut grips. Matching serial numbers including the grips. The magazine is non-matching, nickeled sheet steel variation with aluminum base, numbered 6285 (re-number) with an S and eagle/6 stamped at the front of the base. All parts on the pistol are porperly marked with the eagle/6 Simson proof, except the un-marked toggle pin. Stamped on top of the toggle with the Simson "S" code. Blank chamber. The right side of the receiver is stamped with three eagle/6 proofs followed by a military acceptance mark. Barrel is marked over the right side with the Military acceptance mark and over the left side with an eagle/6 proof. Metal finish shows edge and high point wear. Light spotting on the side of the toggle housing, minor pitting on the sideplate hump and front corner of the right side frame rail. Finish thinned on the grip frame straps. Mechanically fine., s/n 13xxa, Catalog Number SS-08 |
