| 38 Special; 99% blue, excellent bore, excellent grips, 5'' barrel, Production started for the 52-2 in 1971 Changes to the 52-2 included an improved extractor and along with an adjustable trigger stop, serrated hammer. This version was manufactured for 23 years. The slide has SMITH & WESSON and the four-line S&W address and patent information. The left frame has the S/N TAU8854 / Model 52-2. The right side of the frame S&W Trademark. The top of the barrel has .38 Special / Mid - Range. The gun is in excellent plus condition with virtually all (99% plus) original finish remaining on the frame, grip and slide with crisp checkered walnut grips. It comes with the original S&W numbers matching box. That also included a scope mount grip, and the S&W paperwork, s/n TAU88xx |
