| 38 S&W; excellent bore, good grips, 5'' barrel, Original military parkerized finish and plain walnut grips. Fixed sights. Matching serial numbers. Standard S&W markings. P firing proof on butt of the grip frame. Topstrap is marked with a small flaming bomb and "U.S. PROPERTY G.H.D.". Chambered for the 38 S&W cartridge. The left rear corner of the frame is stamped with a post war Austrian police marking "OSTERREICH POLIZEI" around the Austrian eagle. Used, the metal finish shows some wear and handling marks. No import marks found. Mechanically fine. C&R/FFL, s/n V4010xx |
