| 7x57mm; 85% blue, fair bore, good stock, 29'' barrel, Oviedo arsenal manufacture, dated 1899. Small ring Mauser action. Blued finish, walnut stock and handguard. Matching stock, trigger guard and floorplate. Bolt body is not numbered. Shroud and safety are numbered and not matching. Leather sling attached. Missing the cleaning rod. Legible Oviedo 1899 cartouche on the left side of the butt. No import marks. The stock has some chipping around the buttplate tang and has a light coat of varnish applied. Mechanically fine. The bore has strong rifling however is dark in the grooves., s/n F36xx |
