| 45-70 Govt; 80% blue, good bore, fair stock, 32 5/8'' barrel, Original finish beginning to brown, original walnut stock has been sanded, cartouche is faint, appears to be an 1883 date. Serial number falls into the range for a model 1884 rifle. 1879 pattern rear sight. 1873 date breechblock. Non-original cleaning rod. The stock has a crack on the right side running from the side of the tang to the back of the lockplate. Mechanically fine. The bayonet pictured is not included. Antique, s/n 3772xx |
