| 30-06 Cal; excellent bore, very good stock, 24'' barrel, RA 9-43 2 groove barrel installed. Dark parkerized finish. Refinished scant C walnut stock and handguard. Reblued trigger guard and floorplate, over some pitting. Front sight blade replaced with a globe sight with fine post insert. Rear sight removed from the base. Lyman 48S aperture rear sight mounted on the receiver bridge. Muzzle gauges .301 with a bright sharp bore. Wood has a few scratches on the left side and rest marks on the bottom of the forend. Commercial 1907 style leather sling. This rifle is accompanied by an original 1962 dated NRA DCM paper from the Pueblo Ordnance Depot out of Colorado. The paper states a US M1903A3 rifle and has no serial number written on the form. Also a Lyman tin with extra aperture for the front sight., s/n 12958xx |
