| 12 GA; good bore, good stock, 30'' barrel, Manufactured by Savage/Stevens c.1930's. Blued finish steel barrels with 2 3/4" chambers, Modified and Improved Cylinder chokes. Grooved barrel rib with brass bead sight. Casehardened boxlock action with double triggers. Extractor. Matching serial numbers. Plain walnut stock with rounded knob grip and checkered hard rubber buttplate. Wood refinished. Faded case color visible on action. Barrel have turned mostly a rust brown patina. Light surface rusing overall on metal. Both barrels have some spots of bulging and the lower barrel rib has been roughly repaired just forward of the forend. Mechanically fine with good barrel lockup., s/n T186xx |
