| 75% blue, good bore, very good stock, 32.5'' barrel, SRINGFIELD M1878 TRAPDOR RIFLE IN FINE ANTIQUE CONDITION. THE BLUING HAS TURNED PATINA SHOWING REMNANTS OF BLUING ON THE BREECH AND LOCK. THE HAMMER IS HEAVILY PITTED AND THERE IS LIGHT PITTING ON THE REAR OF THE BARREL. THE BORE IS SEMI BRIGHT WITH GOOD RIFLING ALONG WITH LIGHT OXIDATION PRESENT. THE WALNUT STOCK IS VERY GOOD BUT HAS BEEN REFINISHED OBLITERATING AND CARTOUCHE OR MARKING. COMES WITH A WEB SLING AND A US MARKED BAYONET IN GOOD CONDITION BUT NO SCABBARD. |
